Estonian distiller Liviko, best known for Crafter’s Gin, is leveraging sustainability, upcycling, and low-alcohol innovation to appeal to younger, health-conscious consumers across Asia. The firm’s new Re-crafted Junibeer and Corsaro Aperitivo lines mark a strategic shift toward portfolio diversification while maintaining core brand heritage.

• Upcycled Product Innovation Under “Re-crafted Junibeer” Line:

Liviko now repurposes 80% of the botanical by-products from Crafter’s Gin, creating a new category of juniper-based drinks. These include:

  • 3.2% ABV Juniper Beer, with a bitter, woody profile

  • A non-alcoholic juniper soft drink with a bittersweet flavour

  • Juniper-infused cheese – a cross-category play reinforcing zero-waste credentials


• Low-Alcohol Trend Captured with Corsaro Aperitivo:

To meet rising demand for low- and no-alcohol cocktails, Liviko introduced Corsaro, a 15% ABV aperitif made from rowan berries, cranberries, and spices, offering a balanced sweet-bitter citrus profile. The product has won Estonia’s Best Non-Alcoholic Drink award two years in a row (2022, 2023).


• Premium Hard Liquor Still Core to Strategy:

While broadening its appeal, Liviko remains committed to its core spirit offerings:

  • Crafter’s Gin, known in APAC for its pine forest botanical variant

  • Vana Tallinn, a rum-based liqueur brand

  • Hõbe Vodka, filtered through 29 silver filters, delivering a smooth 39.2% ABV spirit with precision-crafted taste


• Strong Global Footprint with APAC Focus:

Liviko exports to 70 global markets, including Asia-Pacific via both travel retail and domestic retail channels. APAC is a strategic growth zone, particularly among premium lifestyle and wellness-focused consumers seeking innovation with a story.
